An Exclusive Alternative to Conventional Long Term Treatment Programs.
- Jude Thaddeus Continuing Education Reinforces a Solid Foundation -
The primary purpose of Jude Thaddeus Continuing Education is to give students the most important commodity in life; more time. There is no replacement for time spent practicing when you are trying to improve upon anything in life.
During the six-week Jude Thaddeus Program students focus on identifying the underlying problems that may have contributed to their substance abuse; and in turn they gain a clear picture of the behavior patterns they developed over years of poor decision making. They spend the majority of time in that first six weeks learning about themselves, the decisions they have made, the consequences for those decisions and the immense power they hold over those decisions moving forward in their lives. They learn precisely how to begin changing their thought patterns, motivations, and begin the process of short and long term goal setting and planning. For most students six weeks is long enough to build a solid foundation thereby enabling them to leave the program with newfound confidence and verve. But there is a small percentage of students who as they complete our six week program may feel they need more time to build that confidence. It is for these people that JTCE has been developed.
A few reasons why people may feel they need additional time in Jude Thaddeus Continuing Education may include:
Those who have been indoctrinated into the disease theory and 12 step methodology which may bring about increased anxiety, self doubt and difficulties in planning for the future;
Students who did not complete all course materials during the six-week Jude Thaddeus Program due to health issues, learning disabilities, or other personal reasons;
Students who have specific academic or career planning they would like to complete while at the Jude Thaddeus Program;
Students who simply feel they would like more time to practice their new lifestyle in an environment conducive to learning;
Students who want more time to build the coping and life skills necessary to achieve lifelong success.
While enrolled in Jude Thaddeus Continuing Education students can explore different possibilities for career, education and volunteer opportunities. They will explore how they relate to others and the world around them and gain a new perspective about how they fit in to each role they play within their life.
Because the Jude Thaddeus Continuing Education Program remains small with less than ten people enrolled at any given time, the program is personalized to each individual’s specific needs. One-on-one time with your instructor and academic and career planner is abundant and a significant component to the success of the program.
The primary goal of JTCE is to help each individual build a successful future, and gain a solid beginning on that road prior to leaving the program. Structures will not stand the tests of time without a solid foundation. The purpose of the Jude Thaddeus Program and JTCE is to help each person build a rock-solid foundation that will lead to lifelong happiness and success.
